If you want to know about Project VRM, what it means and why, do join us at regular monthly meetings where VRM people and the groupies hang out, find out what's new and see if they want to do anything about it. The meetings should fall on the last Thursday of the month, but do check the wiki for the final date.
We are on a look out for venue, so far we met in a wine bar and in an office. Ideally, we need something in between - a space we can hang out and drink wine/beer/etc and also sit down, open a laptop, take discussion further - I call it 3Ws - wi-fi, wine, whiteboard. There are already some ideas and suggestions, which are most welcome. And as the meetings grow in scope, I am sure there will be more.
At the February meeting we talked about implementation and technical aspects of VRM, here is the paper that was discussed: Power to the persons redux. A VRM one-pager that might come in handy.
VRM Labs - a place for companies to join VRM Hub efforts.
When you blog notes or post photos, may I suggest two tags - vrm and vrmuk - this should cover vrm in general and also our UK group. Will create a page or a feed widget either here or on my blog to show follow-up blog posts and relevant VRM stuff asap.

Please note change of venue and time of the event.
The original venue didn't work out but thanks to Ben's swift and efficient intervention we will be able to have our meeting at Google offices in London... which means we will have the 3Ws - wi-fi, whiteboard and (hopefully) wine.
The meeting will start at 6.30pm at Google London office and only people who signed up below are on the list of attendees at the reception. As visitors have to be accompanied by a googler at all times, we will first gather downstairs at the reception from 6.20pm to 6.30pm. Ben will then take us to the meeting area in one go. My contact number is 0786757129, please let do me know if you are delayed or not coming.
Please let others know about the changes - if you know anyone else on the list, please contact them in case they don't check the wiki and/or I do not have email contact for them. Thank you.
Date: 27th February, Wednesday 6.30pm-9pm
Venue: Google Offices, 76 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 9TQ map
Visitors from far-away lands: Doc Searls (Boston, MA)
Date: 31st January, Thursday 6-9pm
Venue: Grape Street Wine bar in Shaftesbury avenue, nearest tube Tottenham Court Road or Holborn. Map.
Organisers: Adriana Lukas and Iain Henderson.
Visitors from far-away lands: Tomas Kohl (Prague), Gam (Bay area)
Aftermath: The meeting went well, it was good to see some new faces and have new conversations. The wine bar private room is rather nice and staff very helpful. Might revisit or alternate with more structured space in case we need to get more specific and show what's happening in VRMland.
